Monthly Club - Stampers 10

Join the Stampers 10 Club!

What is a Stamper's 10 Club?

Think of the Stamper's 10 Club as a way to get everything from your Stampin' Up! Wish List slowly and affordably - and some of it even for free!

Updating your home Decor?   You can order Decor Elements in this club too! New designs are always being released.

What do I have to do?
Call me or e-mail me with a Stampin' Up! order totaling $15 or more once a month for just 10 months! There is no club fee, the money you spend is only in Stampin' Up! Product.

How does it work?
There will be 10 people in each club and each club will last for 10 months. Since there are 10 people spending at least $15, every club order is guaranteed to total $150 -- the minimum order amount needed to earn free stamp sets and products from Stampin' Up! Since there are 10 people and 10 months, this allows each of the club members to take a turn picking out free product. My average club member receives around $40 in free Stampin' Up! Product just for being in the club!

So it lasts for 10 months, but from when to when? These next groups will run from July 2010 - June 2011.  (We will take off November and Decemeber.)

How and when do I get orders to you?
You can call or e-mail me with your order and pay by Money Order, Check, or Credit Card.  The orders and payment are due on the 20th of every month.

Do I have to attend anything or host a workshop?
No! You are under no obligation to attend or host anything! Of course, you can if you want to!

What are some other club benefits?
If the FREE Hostess Exclusive Stamp Sets and FREE Shopping Dollars aren't enough for you, there are some other club benefits as well.
Check them out:
•FREE Idea Book & Catalog: 9.95 value!!!
•Receive FREE Mini Catalogs directly in the mail from Stampin' Up! Headquarters -- fresh off the press!

I've done it!

I have been trying to come up with an idea for the card swap I have on Saturday. I have been trying to think of many different themes around the color green.  St. Patricks day is this month so I wanted something green but how often do you give a card for this holiday.  As I was looking at blogs this morning I can across Mary Fish's blog (she has tons of great ideas) and I found the perfect layout from Kalshelia Lloyd.  I did change it a bit, but left the original layout.

Instructions for the flowers can be found here and here.  I punched out 3 scallop circles and then distressed the card stock with my bone folder until the paper began pulling apart.  I pulled each scallop apart and stacked them up with the inside of the paper facing up and put a small brad in the center of all flowers.  Since I did not have a cute black button for the center I decided to make one using the 1/2" circle punch.  I attached the button to the center with a glue dot and then attached this to the card with an additional glue dot.

Recipe:

Stamps: Bella Toile
Paper: so saffron, basic black, mellow moss, always artichoke
Ink:
always artichoke
Punches: scallop circle, scallop trim border, 1/2" circle, 5-petal flower
Accessories: brad, glue dots

Candy Treat Box

I love this little box.  It is great for a small gift or a little treat for anyone you know.  I love how versatile it could be.  Just by changing the color and accessories you get a completely different look.  You can find the directions here at Chic' n Scratch (one of my favorite sites to visit).

The words come in a great new stamp set called Whimsical Words.  This set is only available until March 31, 2010, during sale-a-bration.  This set has many wonderful words that can be used for many different occasions or events.

I made a couple of changes from Angie's example.  I have had some paper that I picked up at Hobby Lobby that I wanted to try with rich razzleberry (in-color) and thought this was a great time to try.  This box did not want to stay closed with the 1/2" circle closure.  I decided that it needed a little more weight and so I made a faux button to use as the closure, and it looks great also.  The flowers are just some silk flowers that I got at the store and colored one with the rich razzleberry marker to match the box.  I love using the 5-petal flower punch to make leaves to go with any flower, it just works so great.  I layered all the flowers and leaves together and connected with the brad.  I then attached this to the box using a medium glue dot.

This box was very fun and I plan to make more with different papers.  I can't wait to play and see what I can come up with next.

Notepad

My newest creation is this little notepad. I am very excited with how it turned out. I am always needing a piece of paper to write down notes each time that I go visit my dad, so I decided to make something that anyone could use and looks better than just a plain notebook. The front and back cover are just 1/4 sheets of card-stock and then I decorated the front with something I hope my dad will enjoy seeing.

Now that I have made this notepad I can't wait to make more for other people and other occasions. The great thing about this notepad is that I can just add more pages when these have all been used. All I did for the paper is cut plain printer paper into quarters and punched the holes to match. I did run the paper through my printer first to put lines on before cutting but you would not need to. (I will try to upload my lined paper to print that is already formatted to fit.)

Click here to download the note paper.  Download as a Microsoft Word document to get the formatting to work.

I hope that you all enjoy this as much as I do.
